FAROE ADVENTURE

Faroe Adventure takes you on a 2-day hike in the Faroese nature to savour the peacefulness and rich wildlife up close. The hike goes to Dalarnar – a valley in Vestmanna on northern Streymoy. We take off from Tórshavn and drive approx. 20 minutes to Lake Leynavatn to start a 6-8 hour walk. On the way, we pass several mountain tops, which can be climbed. One is called Sneis (747 m), which is very characteristic and another Kopsenni (789 m), the highest point on Streymoy. On a clear day, you can enjoy the grand scenery of the islands and the ocean from the mountains. A few hours later, surrounded by nature, we will set up the tents and prepare a solid meal with Faroese specialties. The following morning after breakfast, we will walk through the green valleys in the mountains and reach the tiny picturesque village Saksun in northern Streymoy. We then head back to Tórshavn by minibus.
