RIDING TRIPS IN THE MOUNTAINS

Experience the beautiful Faroese nature on horseback. Berg Hestar offers daily trips in the mountains around Tórshavn to appreciate the many impressions. A guide, familiar with horses and nature, accompanies you on the trip, which is matched to your level of experience. Go on a trip to Kleynisvarði, which is a memorial for the horsebackriders of the past and experience riding on an ancient mountain path. Another trip goes to Villingardal and around the cliff Gellingarklettur. On the way back you get a great view over Tórshavn and Nólsoy fjord. Icelandic horses, known to be calm and easy to handle, are used for the trips.
