EXPERIENCE FAROE ISLANDS FROM THE SEA  - GO ON A FISHING TRIP WITH KOMET

A must while visiting the Faroe Islands is to go fishing and experiencing the islands from the sea. From Klaksvík it is easy to reach the rich fishing waters to the north and south, in almost any kind of weather. This has made the area the leading fishery harbour in the Faroe Islands. For generations the income of almost every household in Norðoyggjar has depended on fishery and still today Klaksvík has the largest fishing fleet in the country. The fishing boat Komet is offering angling trips, for those who like angling, whether it is in a competition or just for fun. The circumstances onboard are very good for angling. Good space on the deck, and good possibilities to clean and cut the catch.
